BUS Whisky Single Cask represents the purest expression of our philosophy: one single bourbon cask, carefully followed for five years, matured and bottled separately. No blending, no adjustments — only the character of that cask. Each batch is unique, depending on the harvest and cask, giving every bottle its own story. Like a winemaker, we let the barley and casks express their character.
Fully single estate, from sustainably grown barley on our own farm. The nose is warm and comforting, with aromas of grain, malt, hay, and caramel. The palate opens with caramel and butter, young oak, and floral notes. Sweet orange, dried fruit, delicate licorice, fresh figs, and bittersweet chocolate slowly develop.
Bottled at 52% alcohol, naturally filtered without chill-filtering, preserving the full texture and intensity of this cask. Each bottle is sealed by nature with our own beeswax, lightly colored with food-safe dyes.
The label, designed by Sanne van den Elzen, is a cyanotype of the Peelrand fault — an artistic translation of soil, time, and maturation. BUS Whisky is B Corp certified, producing with respect for nature and heritage. A unique single malt for the true enthusiast, combining craftsmanship, character, and terroir.
