BUS Whisky Single Malt forms the foundation of our distillery: a carefully selected single malt, matured for five years in four first fill bourbon casks. Each batch reflects the character of the harvest and the individual casks; we do not blend to achieve consistency, allowing the natural variation to make each batch unique. Like a winemaker observing each vintage, we let our barley and casks speak.

Fully single estate, made from sustainably grown barley from our own farm. The nose offers warm, comforting aromas of grain, malt, hay, and caramel. The palate opens with notes of caramel and butter, followed by young oak and floral tones. Slowly, sweet orange, dried fruit, delicate licorice, fresh figs, and bittersweet chocolate develop.

Bottled at 46% alcohol, naturally filtered — we do not chill-filter — so the full character is preserved. Each bottle is sealed by nature with our own beeswax, lightly colored with food-safe dyes.

The label is designed by artist Sanne van den Elzen, using cyanotype to depict the Peelrand fault layers — an artistic translation of time, soil, and maturation. BUS Whisky is B Corp certified and produces with respect for nature, heritage, and the future. A single malt capturing Dutch craftsmanship in every sip.
