This special edition of Bus Single Estate Whisky has undergone a remarkable maturation process. Our spirit was first aged for three years in a first-fill bourbon cask, after which we lent the cask to Muifel Brewery for the aging of their iconic Zuster Agatha Quadrupel. After 13 months of barrel aging, the beer developed an extra layer of depth and complexity. The casks then returned to our distillery, where our whisky received its final finishing touch.
The result is a perfect harmony between whisky and beer, with the spicy and sweet notes of the whisky beautifully complementing the deep flavors of the Quadrupel.
