Bus Magazine | Edition 2

In this glossy magazine, you can read how Bus was already the Stonehenge of Brabant 2,800 years ago and how this history comes back to life through the BUS Tartan.

Whisky experts Hans & Becky Offringa give their verdict on Bus. Expedition Robinson participant Roelof Hemmen and his wife Marjon talk about Bus Whisky and hunting. And Markthal artist Arno Coenen creates a new drink from the residual streams of whisky production.

BUS Whisky | "The perfect introduction to BUS - approachable, balanced, and full of character."

The nose offers warm, comforting aromas of grain, malt, hay, and caramel. The palate opens with notes of caramel and butter, followed by young oak and floral tones. Slowly, sweet orange, dried fruit, delicate licorice, fresh figs, and bittersweet chocolate develop. More info...

Can children come along?

Children & NIX 18

For participation in a tour through the whisky distillery, we generally apply a minimum age of 18 years. Research has shown that excessive smoking and drinking by parents leads to the same behaviour in children. The advice is therefore to avoid the use of alcohol and tobacco products as much as possible in the presence of children. BUS Whisky therefore advises against children participating in our tours, although we realise this can sometimes be difficult given the family situation.

We have special NIX18 colouring pages for children about distilling. These focus on the technique of distilling, the biology of yeast, and the unhealthiness of alcohol. While parents take part in the tour, children can entertain themselves with this colouring page.
