The cask: BUS Whisky Single Malt is the foundation of our distillery: a carefully composed single malt, matured for five years in four selected first fill bourbon casks. This cask selection creates balance, depth and consistency — without losing the character of the estate. Fully single estate produced, from sustainably grown malting barley on our own farm through to distillation and maturation, all on one site. The label is based on Cyanotype, the artwork by Sanne van den Elzen that forms the basis for all our bourbon-matured bottles.
The tasting: Nose: warm, comforting aromas of grain, malt, hay and caramel. Palate: caramel and butter, followed by young oak and floral notes. Finish: sweet orange, dried fruit, delicate liquorice notes, fresh figs and bittersweet chocolate.
The moment: Perfect as a small gift, to taste before buying the full bottle, or for on the go.
Delivery: Tuesday is our shipping day.
