Frequently asked questions about our motorhome pitch:
You book via the campercontact app. Your spot is assigned to you through the app and you pay via the app.
You can arrive at the motorhome pitch from 1:00 pm. If you happen to arrive a bit earlier and there's already space available, we're not strict about it and you can already choose a spot.
On the day of departure you need to be gone before 1:00 pm.
You book via our website. The spot is not assigned. We cannot reserve specific spots for you. First come, first served...
No, caravans are not allowed. We are a motorhome pitch, not a campsite. We are not able/willing/allowed to accommodate caravans.
Yes, bicycle rental is possible. You can rent bicycles through our regular partner Mastworp fietsenverhuur. They deliver the bicycles to Bus Whisky and pick them up again afterwards.
No, you pay for the pitch and that includes all persons in the motorhome and any pets. A small dome tent - as long as it fits within the boundaries of the motorhome pitch - is no problem at all. Just keep in mind that our pitches are not very large.
Dogs are more than welcome on our outdoor grounds and terrace, but unfortunately cannot join the tour.
This is because we are not allowed to permit pets in areas where food is processed or stored. Pets may only enter the seating area of a restaurant if no food is prepared or stored there. Unfortunately, pets are legally not permitted in a restaurant with an open kitchen, as is the case at Bus Whisky. Pets are also not allowed in our hotel rooms.
Dogs are, of course, very welcome on our covered and heated terrace.
Service dogs are legally permitted in restaurants with an open kitchen. Together, we do need to make sure the service dog cannot get too close to the food and drinks.
No, the wifi is concentrated around and inside the building. There is no wifi at the motorhome pitches.
There are no play facilities for children. And there is open water in various places on the grounds, so the site is generally less suitable for young children.
BUS Whisky advises against children joining our tours, although we realise this can sometimes be difficult given the family situation. That's why we also have special colouring pages for children about distilling. These focus on the technique of distilling, the biology of yeast and the unhealthiness of alcohol. While parents take part in the tour, children can entertain themselves with this colouring page. This is how we try to give proper meaning to the NIX18 agreement, so that together we can prevent young people under 18 from smoking and drinking!
No. We have no showers for motorhome guests, not at the pitch and not anywhere else on the grounds. The restaurant toilets are available 24/7 for motorhome guests, though.
A motorhome pitch costs 18.50 euros per night for 2 people, so 9.25 euros per person. This includes water, electricity and tourist tax. The breakdown is 13.50 euros per pitch per night plus 2.50 euros per person per night tourist tax, so for more than 2 people, an extra 2.50 euros is added per additional person.
No, you book and pay for the motorhome pitch online in advance. Without payment there is no booking, and you will not receive a confirmation email either.
Yes, water and electricity are free. Each pitch has a blue 6A CEE connector. There is no water tap at the pitch itself; you fill up with water centrally at the service station. Disposal points for wastewater and the chemical toilet, as well as waste collection, are also free.
Yes. Motorhome guests get a 50% discount on the tour of the whisky distillery: 8.75 euros per person instead of 17.50 euros.
Camping Culinair is a culinary evening event at the motorhome pitch, held roughly once a month on selected evenings. It costs 99.50 euros per person. This includes the motorhome pitch with electricity for the night of the event, a 4-course dinner, the matching pairing and the tour.
At your own motorhome, in a festival atmosphere, not in the restaurant. It's a 4-course dinner with a matching pairing.
Yes, that's possible, but it requires a separate booking: a regular motorhome pitch at the standard rate. Only the night of the event itself is included in the Camping Culinair ticket. If you don't have a motorhome, you can also book Camping Culinair separately.
